Planned giving - a legacy of love logo

A bequest is one of the most common types of planned gifts. You can specify your legacy gift to The Foundation of Literacy Volunteers of South Sarasota County, as a particular dollar  amount,  percentage of your estate, the residual of your estate, or a specific asset such as real estate, securities, or other property.

If you want to see your philanthropy at work during your lifetime, you can transfer assets to this type of trust. It will provide income to The Foundation of Literacy Volunteers of South Sarasota County for the period of years you specify.  At the end of that period, the remaining assets revert to you or someone you designate.
